The City of Red Deer's Assessment & Taxation Services Department:
- provides fair, equitable and defensible property assessments,
- conducts annual market based assessments,
- assesses businesses located within the boundaries of the downtown Business Revitalization Zone,
- collects municipal taxes,
- collects education and other requisitioned taxes,
- administers the Tax Installment Plan, and
- responds to taxpayer inquiries.
Visit or call our office if you need information, require forms, or have questions about property assessments or taxation.
Note: All payments must be made at the City Hall cashiers on the 1st Floor.
