The Home Safety Check Sheet has been modeled after the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) Code 1452, Guide for Training Fire Service Personnel to Conduct Dwelling Fire Safety Surveys.
The information regarding the hazards identified in the home is collected for the benefit of the homeowner or tenant. Red Deer Emergency Services will not keep this information. The only information that will be retained is if smoke alarms or batteries were left with the homeowner or tenant, or if Red Deer Emergency Services installed a smoke alarm or battery for the homeowner or tenant.
