Commuter Bike Pilot Program

It's time to get out and get active Red Deerians. The City’s commuter bike pilot program is rolling out and we want to hear what cyclists and motorists think.

This year's implementation is a start to the commuter bike pilot program, with a larger program  planned for 2012. We want to use this first round to find out what routes commuters think would be the best to have in the city, what questions and comments you have about bike lanes, and how we can make Red Deer more bike friendly.

The four new bike lanes are at Riverside Drive from 67 Street to Three Mile Bend access; Riverview Avenue from 60 Street to 65 Street; Kerrywood Drive from Fir Street to Overland Place; and, Cronquist Drive from 54 Avenue to Webster Drive.

Want to get out and enjoy Red Deer on your bike? Here is a map with the new bike routes.
