Discussion Paper on Environmental Initiatives

The Environmental Discussion Paper was approved by Red Deer City Council at the April 5, 2004 City Council meeting.

Council resolved that the Environmental Discussion Paper is to be used as the basis for City Administration to bring forward implementation strategies to be considered during Business Planning and Budget processes.

The paper contains a comprehensive overview of the types of environmental initiatives that Red Deer and other leading municipalities are involved in. It also identifies potential partnerships and funding sources that may help Red Deer move forward in the preservation of the environment.
