 | Take a tour of The City's landfill, composting site and waste salvage operations. After you're done have some fun with the hands-on displays in the Interpretive Centre to learn more about landfills, waste composition and waste reduction.
The Interpretive Centre is great for all ages and specifically meets the grade four science curriculum, "Waste and Our World." The exhibits will inform, educate, entertain and most importantly inspire action and change!
The facility is located at 1709 - 40 Avenue (just south of the Delburne Road). There is no cost for the tour and it can be arranged to last one to two hours.
