Waste Management FacilityThe waste management facility includes the landfill, household hazardous waste drop-off, electronics recycling drop-off, interpretive centre and drop-off for yard waste.The facility is located at 1709 – 40 Avenue (east of the Westerner Complex).

Summer Hours (April 1 – October 31) Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.Saturday: 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.Sunday: ClosedThe facility is open on all statutory holidays except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.There is a $5 minimum charge for dumping waste. Each year, two $5 coupons are mailed out to all Red Deer households that receive a utility bill.
