Keep Your Water Charges Under Control

Check Your Water Meter

The impact of leaky faucets and running toilets can go unnoticed for several months because of damaged water meter remote readouts. Damage to your remote readout or its wiring could cause it to under register, affecting the accuracy of your bill.

To ensure that these problems do not impact your utility changes, check your water meter and remote readout at least every three months. Ensure the remote readout device, located on the exterior of your house, matches the reading on your inside water meter. If the readings do not match, call Environmental Services at 403-342-8750 and report the difference.

If you do not have a remote readout device and would like one installed at your residence, call 403-342-8750. There is no charge for this service.
