The City of Red Deer's Land & Economic Development Department:

• Promotes investment opportunities in the Red Deer Region.
• Identifies potential commercial and industrial opportunities.
• Develops, markets and sells industrial and residential land.
• Works with companies to facilitate development.

• Conducts a proactive business visitation program targeted primarily at the industrial and manufacturing sectors. This program can lead to local business expansion and growth.
• Prepares promotional and statistical information on The City of Red Deer and surrounding area.
• Provides assistance to investment delegations, site selectors and fact finders exploring investment opportunities in the Red Deer area.
