Garage
The primary focus of the Garage is the maintenance and upkeep of the various pieces of equipment utilized by various departments of The City of Red Deer.
To carryout this work the Garage is broken into several sections:
Mechanics
- responsible for the maintenance and upkeeps of the various units.
Welders
- responsible for the fabrication of various steel structures and the repair of structural components of the equipment.
Bodymen
- responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the surface portion of the various units which includes body work and painting.
Parts
- responsible for maintaining a supply of parts on hand to facilitate the speedy repair of units.
