The Public Works Department will place a large sign at the entrance to each subdivision advising that the street sweeping will be done the next day in that particular subdivision. "No Parking" signs will also be set out on the streets a minimum of 12 hours before work begins. Residents need to watch for these signs in their areas. Vehicles left parked on signed streets will be ticketed and towed. Street sweeping will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sundays to Fridays. The public can help by sweeping the sidewalks in front of their house. Citizens are also asked to stay a safe distance from sweepers, to obey construction signs, and to slow down when passing maintenance workers. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated. For more information on street sweeping, please contact the Roads Section of the Public Works Department at 403-342-8238.
