Roads Constructions

The Public Works Department maintains a number of City buildings and manages two sections: 

  1. Roads
  2. Equipment Fleet

The mandate of the Public Works Department is to:

  • Ensure responsible policies, plans, standards and operations related to the roads infrastructure, fleet equipment, building maintenance and materiel management services are in place.

  • Ensure that The City’s infrastructure assets are maintained in optimum condition.

  • Provide financially sustainable support services in the areas of fleet equipment, building maintenance and material. management services to City departments

The Public Works Department is responsible for:

  • the roads, bridges, lanes, sidewalks and signs.
  • the Equipment Fleet.
  • building maintenance.
