Community Policing Initiatives - The City of Red Deer

Members of the Red Deer City RCMP are committed to making communities safe and healthy by providing a balanced approach to crime prevention including education and enforcement. Our community policing initiatives offer awareness and education programs for private businesses, the public, schools and interest groups on the prevention of crime in Red Deer. We strive to provide leadership and referral to community driven initiatives and to support our community and the needs within our community.

The Red Deer City RCMP are involved in the following community programs and crime prevention initiatives within the city of Red Deer.

National Youth Strategy is working with young people to prevent crimes involving them either as victims or offenders. The Red Deer RCMP is involved in a number of community based and school based initiatives within the city of Red Deer to ensure the safety and well-being of our youth.
