General Duty


   General Duty Police Officer

The General Duty Police Officer:

  • Provide 1st response to all calls for service from the general public.
  • Investigate crimes
  • Lay charges when appropriate
  • Investigate motor vehicle collisions
  • Preventative patrols
  • Enforce Municipal Bylaws, Provincial Statutes, Criminal Code Offences, Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

The City of Red Deer is policed 24 hours a day, seven days
a week.
