RCMP Red Deer City Investigates Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Collision

On April 5 , 2010 at approximately th 5:22 p.m., Red Deer City RCMP and Red Deer Emergency Services responded to a Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Collision in South Red Deer. A 13 year male was crossing 39th street near Davidson Drive when he was struck by a van traveling westbound. The young male Pedestrian was transported to Red Deer Regional Hospital by Red Deer Emergency Services from serious, non life-threatening injuries.

The 31 year old male driver and lone occupant of the pick up truck was not injured in the incident.

The Victim, a 13 year old Red Deer male, has been transported to Calgary Hospital.

Police continue to investigate with the assistance of Red Deer RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst.
