It's no secret that Red Deer is a vibrant cultural community and a hotbed of creative talent. The Culture Services Centre contributes to the dynamic arts climate of this city with art exhibits and courses in music, dance, theatre, languages, creative writing and the visual arts.
The Centre contains the Culture Services administrative offices, performing and visual arts studios, the Viewpoint Gallery, a multipurpose studio, the office of the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, and special events permit bookings.
The three primary functions of the Culture Services Centre are:
- To provide community development and support services to the arts communities of Red Deer,
- To provide quality arts programs for citizens in a wide variety of disciplines for all age levels, and
- To facilitate the operation of a community-based arts centre.
