Great Chief Park Enhancement Concept Plan

The sports fields at Great Chief Park provide class A facilities for a variety of sports enthusiasts. Facilities include:

Two fastball diamonds and two baseball diamonds
Combination soccer/football field with night game lighting and dressing rooms
Raised media booth
Washrooms and concession
Kiwanis Picnic Park: includes picnic shelter and playground
Ten-hole pitch and putt golf course
Horseshoe pits

Further enquiries may be directed to booking staff at 403-309-8411. Please note there are annual application deadlines for use of these facilities, and that fees are applicable to games, practices, special events and tournaments.

Pitch and Putt

Anyone can afford to swing a club at the Great Chief Park ten-hole public pitch and putt course. Access to this facility is on a first come, first served basis and an honour system is in effect – just bring your clubs and a ball, and place your fees in the drop box located beside the first hole.
