The Oxbows - Off Leash Park
Located at the corner of 19th Street and 40th Avenue. This 30+ acre site has been designed exclusively for the community’s dog lovers, and includes an entrance staging area, winding trails, diverse terrain, open training sites, rest locations, an agility park, amphitheatre, interpretive kiosks, and a small dogs and private booking area.
Due to the site's proximity to Piper Creek, the configuration of the park’s trail system and various amenities have been designed to emulate the meandering nature of a serpentine stream system; hence, it has been appropriately named “The Oxbows.”
The organic and diverse network of pathways and trails provide a large variety of potential uses and encourage visitors to stay on designated routes while maximizing their exposure to the entire park area.
At this time, the park is available for use 24 hours a day.
