Transit Bus

The new downtown Transit Terminal will open on Sunday, August 1, 2010 inside the new Sorensen Station Parkade at 49 Avenue between 48 and 49 Streets.

The Transit Department provides bus transportation services along Red Deer's main corridors and streets. 

Transit passes and tickets can be purchased at City Cashiers located on the main floor of City Hall, Bower Place -Lottery Stop, Parkland Mall Guest Services, Rexall Bishops Drugs, Red Deer College Students' Association, Petro Canada, Rosedale Esso store and  4 Fas Gas Plus locations, Northside, Southside, Easthill and Westpark stores.  

Effective September 1, 2010 Special Pass Program Annual Identification Cards can be applied for at Transit Customer Service Centre located in the Sorensen Station. Lost and found articles from city buses can also be retrieved from the newly located Customer Service Center.
