Paying Your Utility Bill

Life is complicated. Paying your utility bill shouldn't be. To help keep it simple, The City of Red Deer offers six payment options. Choose the option that is right for you and return your payment to The City of Red Deer by the date specified on your bill.

Six Ways to Pay

  1. Pay online or by phone through your bank.
  2. Sign-up for The City's pre-authorized withdrawal program.
  3. Pay in person at most banks and financial institutions.
  4. Pay by mail. Make your cheque payable to The City of Red Deer and mail it to PO Box 5008, Red Deer, AB, T4N 3T4.
  5. Use one of the two, 24-hour drop boxes located near the east and west facing entrances to City Hall.
  6. Pay in person on the first floor of City Hall (4914 48 Avenue) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday using one of the following methods: Debit Card, Visa, MasterCard, cash or cheque.

The City of Red Deer does not offer a budget payment plan as The City's utilities do no fluctuate dramatically—most utility bills vary by only $6.00 a month from season to season.
