(Red Deer, Alberta) – A final audit of 2007 census figures has revealed that there are 59 more people living in the city of Red Deer than previously announced.
The revised City of Red Deer population is 85,705. This results in a 3.3% increase in population over 2006.
An audit is undertaken annually to review the entire census data collected. For the 2007 census audit a few adjustments were made including five duplicate entries which, when identified, were deleted and one book of information, representing 64 residents, which was submitted late.
