Count yourself in before the census wraps up

(Red Deer, Alberta) – Make sure you get counted in the 2008 Municipal Census before it wraps up on April 25.

Census workers have been out knocking on doors since April 4. Residents are asked about the number of people living in their household, and the genders and year of birth of each person in the household.

If nobody is home, census workers will leave their name and contact information, but people who haven’t seen a City census worker yet should phone the census office at 403-342-8317 and make sure they get counted.

The census office is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Census results will be released and posted at www.reddeer.ca/census at the end of June.
