(Red Deer, Alberta) - The City of Red Deer annual Green Deer community clean-up campaign kicks off on April 21 with a free community barbecue. The barbecue will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the corner of 48 Avenue and 43 Street, in the parking lot north of the skateboard park.
In the case of bad weather, the Green Deer kick-off barbecue will be relocated to the Recreation Centre at 4501 47A Avenue.
Individuals and teams are invited to register their participation in Green Deer at the barbecue, at the Collicutt or Recreation Centres, or by calling 403-309-8411. The Green Deer campaign runs from April 21 to May 4.
