Street sweeping on collector (bus) routes to begin

(Red Deer, Alberta) – The City will sweep collector (bus) routes from April 15 to 23.

Sweeping will start in Sunnybrook on Tuesday, April 15 from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The sweeping schedule is dependent on weather and dates may vary. After City roads crews complete sweeping the collector routes, sweeping of the residential areas will begin.

“No Parking” signs will be set out on streets to be swept a minimum of 12 hours before work begins starting April 14. Citizens should watch for these signs in their areas. Vehicles left parked on signed streets will be ticketed and towed.

Citizens are asked to stay a safe distance from the machinery, to obey construction signs, and slow down when passing maintenance workers. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
