Last chance for swimmers to take a dip at the outdoor pool

(Red Deer, Alberta) – The Recreation Centre’s outdoor pool will close for the season at the end of the day on Monday, September 1. Each year, the outdoor pool is open from the May long weekend to the September long weekend.
The outdoor pool schedule for Monday is as follows:
Public/Lane swim: noon to 1:30 p.m.
Public swim: 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Lane swim: 8:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The indoor pool will remain open after the long weekend and fitness programs will continue throughout the year. More information about fall programs and swimming lessons can be found in the Fall 2008 Community Services Activity Guide or by visiting
