(Red Deer, Alberta) – Residents are invited to attend the 2008 Alexander Way cultural festival on Saturday, August 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. on 48 Street between 51and 52 Avenue.
The free, family-oriented festival celebrates music, culture and the arts. Attendees will find visual artists, interactive art booths, culture groups, old fashioned games, a creative rain barrel display and live entertainment lining the street. This year’s entertainment includes Diginit, The Liza Hendrix Band and The Buccanneers.
The schedule of events for the Alexander Way street party is:
Mainstage (P1 parking lot)
1:00 p.m. The Liza Hendrix Band
2:10 – 3:10 p.m. Diginit
3:30 – 5:00 p.m. The Buccanneers
