New traffic lights at Kent Street (Jordan Parkway) and Taylor Drive
August 21, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) - The City of Red Deer has installed a new set of traffic signals at the intersection of Kent Street (Jordan Parkway) and Taylor Drive. The new signals will begin operation on Wednesday, August 27.
Starting Monday, August 25, yellow and red lights will flash at this intersection to alert motorists of the pending start-up. This will continue until the signals are fully operational on August 27.
Drivers approaching a flashing yellow signal may proceed through the intersection with caution. Drivers approaching a flashing red signal must stop before the intersection, observe the right of way and proceed when it is safe.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
