Residential permits are approximately 4 million dollars lower than January 2007, caused by a drop in single family housing construction. This moderate decline reflects the slowdown of single family housing development across the province. Permits highlighted for January include a $5.5M permit issued to Chandos Construction Ltd. for the additions to the Millennium Centre.
Monthly permit statistics will be posted on The City’s website at www.reddeer.ca/inspections.
