(Red Deer, Alberta) – The City of Red Deer is holding a public open house for residents to view and comment on proposed intersection and roadway improvements surrounding Gaetz Avenue and 32 Street.
Improvements to the intersection are intended to improve traffic movement and safety, include facilities for walking, cycling and bus transit, and create an attractive street using landscaping and decorative elements.
Residents’ thoughts and input are an important part of the process to decide what changes should be selected by The City and proposed to Council. If plans are approved by Council at the end of March, construction could begin as early as summer 2008.
When: Thursday, February 21, 2008 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Black Knight Inn 2929 50 Avenue Main Stage Room
