(Red Deer / Central Alberta) – Red Deer Regional Economic Development (RDRED), the Central Alberta Economic Partnership Ltd. (CAEP), and B&M Recruitment Solutions are inviting Central Alberta businesses to take part in the upcoming National Job Fair in Toronto September 30 to October 1. The three partners would like to see as many Central Alberta businesses represented at the fair in Toronto as possible and are offering services that allow companies to participate in the trade fair in a variety of ways.
“This job fair will help Central Alberta businesses access labour pools outside of Alberta including professional, skilled and semi skilled workers,” says Cyril Cooper, Red Deer Land and Economic Development Officer and Red Deer Regional Economic Development representative. The expected attendance at this fall’s National Job Fair is estimated to be over 10,000 job seekers.
CAEP’s Chairperson and Mayor of the Town of Rimbey, Dale Barr said, “It is the second year that we have participated in this job fair. Last year’s fair was so successful that we decided to enlist the support of a recruitment agency this time around.”
There are three options for businesses to participate in the event:
- Full Service Recruitment: B&M Recruitment Solutions will provide active in-person recruitment for your company at the National Job Fair and one full month of recruitment services related to all the applications collected at the National Job Fair, including screening, interviewing and reference checking.
- Access to a Collected Resume Package: businesses receive resumes of job seekers after the event for their own follow-up recruitment.
- In-Person participation in the National Job Fair: We can help you connect with the organizers and coordinate with the RDRED/CAEP booth. In this option, businesses attend with their own booth, materials, and personnel to staff the booth.
