(Red Deer, Alberta) - Crown paving is scheduled for the following times and locations:
Tuesday, July 22 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
32 Street between 55 Avenue and Highway 2
-57 Avenue at 32 Street and Wilson Crescent will be closed for the duration
-Webster Drive at 32 Street will be closed and traffic rerouted
Wednesday, July 23 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
47 Street between 40 Avenue and 52 Avenue
-Rolling closure will start at 49 Avenue to Gaetz Avenue (as each section is completed, the closure will move west on block at a time)
- 51 Avenue will be narrowed during the day which will cause delays
Thursday, July 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
1. Horn Street between Taylor Drive and 61 Avenue (parking will be removed from Horn Crescent)
2. Hazlett Close
Friday, July 25 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
67A Street between 59 Avenue and Taylor Drive
- Traffic disruption with no access to businesses on the north side of 67A Street during paving of the north lane
Friday, July 25 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
77 Street between 45 Avenue Close and 40 Avenue – expect considerable delays
Saturday, July 26 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
30 Avenue between 32 Street and 55 Street – expect considerable delays
- Paving of 30 Avenue northbound will be on a rolling basis starting north of 32 Street
- Roads will be closed to eastbound traffic during paving
Please note that times are approximate and schedule is subject to change, depending on weather conditions.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
