(Red Deer, Alberta) – Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25, Border Paving crews will be paving a portion of the gravel road east of the Rotary Park playground. Workers will also be doing pathway work from Rotary Park all the way to Kin Kanyon playground.
The pathway runing north/south through Rotary Park to Kin Kanyon will be closed to the public. The gravel access road east of Rotary Park Playground will also be closed. Users of Rotary Park are asked to park in the paved lot north of the park.
Pathway paving will also take place in Bower Woods west of the walking bridge near the intersection of Selkirk Boulevard and Sutton Close in Sunnybrook, continuing south to the trail entrance east of Bower Mall. Pathway users are asked to find an alternate route during construction.
Drivers and park users are reminded to slow down, use caution and obey all signs. Paving is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, June 27, 2008.
