G.H. Dawe Community Centre revitalization kick off event

(Red Deer, Alberta) – Dash into the Dawe on Sunday, March 30 to help kick off the G.H. Dawe Community Centre revitalization that is slated to get underway this spring.

The kick off event runs from 2 to 5 p.m. with toonie swim and gym activities, cake and light refreshments, draw prizes and time-capsule project.

Schedule of Activities

1:15 to 3 p.m.     family swimming
3 to 5 p.m.         public swimming
2 to 5 p.m.         drop-in gymnasium activities
2:30 p.m.           official presentation by Mayor Morris Flewwelling

Citizens can see what the proposed revitalized facility will look like and find out more about the revitalization project.

The facility will close its doors for 18 to 24 months starting March 31.
