(Red Deer, Alberta) – The Lions Campground is open for the 2008 season. Located along the Red Deer River close to trails and amenities, the Lions Campground is one of Red Deer’s gems.
“We are pleased to provide a quality camping experience in our community, “said Deb Comfort, Neighbourhood Facilities & Community Development Supervisor.
In order to accommodate all campers, The City of Red Deer has implemented a two-week maximum stay at Lions Campground.
“As more tourists visit Red Deer, we want to accommodate those traveling through the area,” said Comfort. “We want everyone to benefit from our facilities.”
The campground is secured from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. to ensure visitors have an enjoyable experience.
Campers are also reminded that reservations are not accepted at the campground. Campers are registered on a first-come, first-served basis only.
The Lions Campground is open from May to the end of September. For more information please call 403-342-8183.
