Open house for intersection improvements

(Red Deer, Alberta) – An open house and public meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8 to discuss Highway 11A, Queens Business Park and Linn Valley intersection improvements.

        Date:             Thursday, May 8, 2008

        Time:            5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
                             Displays available for viewing at 5 p.m.
                             Presentation starting at 7 p.m.

        Location:      Linn Valley Community Hall 
                             #10 – 39026 Range Road 275, Red Deer County
                             (located at the Highway 11 A & Highway 2 Junction – north on Range Road 275. Follow signs to Spirit Creek Golf Course)

The intersection will accommodate Queens Business Park on the south side of Highway 11A. The main intersection to the business park will be located approximately 1,000 meters away from the Queen Elizabeth II highway interchange.

In conjunction with the improvements, the current Linn Valley intersection will be closed and the road extended to the new intersection which will be signalized to improve safety.
