55 Street and 48 Avenue upgrade to traffic signals
November 19, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – On Wednesday, November 26 a new full set of traffic signals will be operational at the intersection of 55 Street and 48 Avenue.
Previously, these signals were activated by pedestrians crossing 55 Street only. The upgraded intersection now includes traffic signals for all three directions to improve convenience for pedestrians and motorists.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to be aware of these modifications and to use caution in the area.
