City accepts applications for spring and summer arena use
November 13, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – The City of Red Deer is accepting arena bookings for the 2009 spring and summer season.
Applications for ice rentals, and non-ice related activities and events scheduled between April 1 and August 31 will be considered. Bookings will be accepted for the Kinsmen Community Arenas, Kinex Arena and Collicutt Centre arena.
When applying, the applicants should indicate the facility they would like to book, the intended use, date and time required and approximate number of persons expected to attend including participants and spectators.
Applications forms are available at the Recreation Centre, located at 4501 47A Avenue and should be submitted to Kristy Dunkle, Facility Bookings Coordinator for The City of Red Deer. Application forms are also available online on the facility bookings page located at
www.reddeer.ca/rpc
.
The deadline for submitting ice related applications is Friday, November 21, 2008. The deadline for submitting non-ice related applications is Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
