(Red Deer, AB) – Over $11 million in permit values were issued for this month keeping pace with this time last year.
Permit highlights for November include a $2.8 million permit issued to Scott Builders for the construction of additions to the Westward Parts warehouse located at 6517 67 Street. A $1 million permit for exterior plaza renovation was also issued to the Provincial Building located at 4920 51 Street.
Single family home starts remain low in the city in year-to-date figures. At a recent workshop in Calgary, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is forecasting a modest rebound in the single family housing market next year.
