(Red Deer, AB) – A building permit worth $23 million was issued to Chandos Construction Ltd. for the new RCMP Detachment building to be located at 4602 51 Avenue.
Phoenix Construction Inc. was issued a building permit for the new Westerner Administration building worth $2.9 million. The proposed administration building is the first proposed change of many in the future for the Westerner grounds.
“Red Deer’s economy continues to grow, with commodity prices in oil and gas reaching record levels,” say Cyril Cooper, Land and Economic Development Officer with The City of Red Deer. “Red Deer has untapped opportunity for local and international business investors with low taxes and a strategic location between two large markets.”
