Fee for Service funding applications
October 28, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – Culture Services is now accepting Fee for Service applications from not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations in Red Deer for the funding year 2009.
The Fee for Service program offers assistance and support to those arts and cultural organizations that clearly demonstrate a need for financial support.
Eligibility information, application forms and agreements may be downloaded at
www.reddeer.ca
by searching “fee for service.” They may also be picked up at the Culture Services Centre at 3827 39 Street from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Culture Services Centre is closed from noon to 1 p.m. daily.
The deadline for applications is Friday, December 5 at 4:30 p.m. Applications should be delivered to the Culture Services Centre. Please note that the deadline is strictly adhered to; late applications will not be accepted.
The Fee for Service program is designed to help organizations build their capacity to provide a service, to manage an arts facility, to provide facility management services to the citizens of Red Deer, to act as an umbrella organization for arts or cultural organizations, or to encourage those groups and organizations that are developing new programming services for arts and culture.
Organizations may contact Wendy Meeres, Acting Culture Superintendent, at 403-309-3083 before the deadline to discuss their eligibility.
