August sees permits issued in Burnt Lake Industrial Area

(Red Deer, Alberta) – Permits worth $2.3 million have been issued in the annexed Burnt Lake area.

Camdon Construction Ltd. was issued building permits for two new industrial buildings and a commercial building permit was issued to Shaw International for a new office building, both in the Burnt Lake Industrial Area. Also, permits were issued for the Bower Mall Shopping Centre to APM Construction Services Inc. for interior renovations to The Bay for a value of $463,000 and for the Parkland Mall to Rob Geile Construction for renovations to the former Sears building for a value of $195,000. A permit for the modernization of St. Thomas Aquinas School was issued to Shunda Consulting for the value of $5.2 million.

Joyce Boon, Development & Licensing Supervisor indicates that further building permits have been applied for in the city’s new industrial area.
