Red Deer Emergency Services to host memorial march
September 10, 2008
(Red Deer, Alberta) – The public is invited to join the Red Deer Fire Fighters – Emergency Services Honour Guard as they host an “Emergency Services Memorial March” on Thursday, September 11. The march will honour 29 fire fighters, emergency services and police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty in the past year.
The march will take place at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall Park. Members of the Red Deer Emergency Services, Red Deer RCMP and Red Deer County Fire Department will take part in honouring members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in serving their communities.
