REVISED - Three Mile Bend access road closed September 29 and October 6

(Red Deer, Alberta) – Work on the access road to Three Mile Bend is now complete ahead of schedule. The closure planned for Monday, October 6 is no longer required. Users will have full access to Three Mile Bend on October 6.

(Red Deer, Alberta) – The access road to Three Mile Bend will close to the public on Monday, September 29 and Monday, October 6 due to continuing road construction along 40 Avenue.

The closures will take place on September 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on October 6 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting. There will be no traffic access to Three Mile Bend during this time.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
