Closure of the North Bank Trail - The City of Red Deer

(Red Deer, Alberta) – The North Bank Trail from Three Mile Bend to Riverbend Golf Course will temporarily close starting July 28 as construction is underway in the area.

A temporary gravel trail will be available as a detour route to allow for access between the two areas. The use of roller blades and skateboards on this trail should be avoided.

In addition, the parking area north of Three Mile Bend will also close with no alternate parking site available. This closure does not impact parking at Three Mile Bend.

Construction is expected to wrap up mid September, weather permitting.
