Permit Values Continue To Rise

July 3, 2009

Leading this month’s construction values are residential permits with an increase in value of 4.7 million from June 2008 to June 2009.

Interior renovations to the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery continue to boost permit values for the month of June and have a construction cost of 1.2 million.

“There were 36 multi-family permits issued to Carolina Homes for construction at 31 Jamieson Avenue for a value of 2.4 million. This contributed to the increase in residential permits,” indicated Joyce Boon, Supervisor of the Inspections & Licensing Department.

Monthly permit statistics will be posted on The City’s Web site at www.reddeer.ca/inspections.
