(Red Deer, Alberta) – Residents who live east of 50 Avenue and south of 55 Street are asked to reduce the amount of water they use starting Wednesday while city crews work on piping repairs and a meter replacement in the Clearview Water Pumping Station.
“We will need to shut down the pump station while the work is underway, and we are asking residents to refrain from outdoor water use to ensure adequate emergency storage during the repair period,” said Randy Reaman, Water superintendent.
No outdoor water use is permitted in the following subdivisions from midnight on July 14 to noon on July 16.

- Mountview
- Sunnybrook
- Sunnybrook South
- Bowers
- South Hill
- Clearview
- Eastview
- Morrisroe
- Anders
- Inglewood
- Rosedale
- Deer Park
- Lancaster
- Vanier Woods
Residents may notice slightly lower than normal water pressure during this period. Residents with automatic sprinkler systems are asked to turn these devices off during the restricted period.
