Trail detour in place at Bower Ponds
October 1, 2009
(Red Deer, Alberta) – A section of trail at Bower Ponds, near the south end of the pond in front of the Pavilion, will close from October 5 to approximately October 14.
Trail users who want to access the playground can detour along the north end of the pond. There will be directional signage posted.
The water level at the ponds was low this year, and this closure will allow The City to pump water from the Red Deer River into the ponds.
