(Red Deer, Alberta) – The G.H. Dawe Community Centre Waterpark will close for maintenance from Monday, January 3, 2011, to Sunday, January 9, 2011.
Scheduled aquatic activities will resume on Monday, January 10.
The maintenance shutdown allows staff and contractors an opportunity to perform warranty work, as well as conduct a thorough inspection and maintenance on all equipment and technical systems in the Waterpark.
The rest of the G.H. Dawe Community Centre, including the gymnasium, fitness/cardio area, meeting rooms and arena, will remain open and maintain regular hours of operation while the maintenance occurs.
Users with G.H. Dawe Community Centre Cards are reminded that their card also allows them access the Recreation Centre and the Michener Aquatic Centre. All other City recreation facilities will remain open during this time.
