(Red Deer, Alberta) – Residents are encouraged to come forward with questions and comments about City projects, or take the opportunity to learn about the many programs and services offered by The City at Let’s Talk 2010. Join Mayor Flewwelling and City Councillors on Saturday, March 6 at Parkland Mall for a full day of interactive displays and information.
“This is an exciting year for Let’s Talk,” said Char Rausch, Let’s Talk Coordinator. “Each year it gets bigger and better and this year is no exception. Residents can expect to see new displays and lots of interactive demonstrations. There’s something to pique everyone’s interest.”
Staff from 29 City departments and agencies will be on hand to talk with the public about current projects, programs and services. Citizens can talk to staff about the programs offered by Recreation, Parks & Culture, tour an ambulance, learn about how to prepare your family for an emergency and much more.
Let’s Talk is an annual event hosted by The City.
Residents are invited to pick up an entry form from any City booth at Let’s Talk. Then visit the many displays, ask questions, jot down the things you learned and enter your form at the City Council booth for a chance to win a prize.
For a complete list of departments, agencies and a schedule of demonstrations taking place, visit The City of Red Deer’s website at www.reddeer.ca.
Everyone is welcome. Bring your family and join us at Let’s Talk 2010!
