(Red Deer, Alberta) – The 2010 Red Deer Community Sport Awards and Banquet, presented by Servus Credit Union, will take place on Thursday, April 29. Tickets cost $25 each and will be available for purchase at the Collicutt Centre and the Recreation Centre starting Friday, March 19.
Red Deer’s Community Sport Awards honour those individuals and groups who excel in their sport and also those who volunteer their time and effort to better our community. The event will be held at the Capri Hotel and Convention Centre in Red Deer. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m.
The public is also reminded to nominate a coach, official, volunteer, athlete or business supporter to be recognized at the event. Nomination forms are available on The City of Red Deer website at www.reddeer.ca, and the application deadline is Monday, March 29.
