(Red Deer, Alberta) – Youth will descend on the Collicutt Centre on Friday, March 5 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. for the facility’s first ever youth only Surf & Turf party. There are no adults allowed with youth ages 8 to 17 getting exclusive use of the Field House and Enmax Water Park.
A regular Collicutt Centre drop in admission is the ticket to the party, and if kids are a Collicutt Centre card holder, all they need to do is swipe their card and they’re in.
“We’ve been planning this event in an effort to get kids moving and give them more to do in Red Deer on a Friday night. The Collicutt Centre has so many activities that are active, safe and a ton of fun. Surf & Turf will kick it up a notch with activities that are not part of our typical drop in admission,” said Denis Delemont, Collicutt Centre Program Coordinator.
A full slate of games, challenges, music and more awaits. Foosball, table tennis, dodge ball, bouldering, Wii Games, the Adrenaline Rush obstacle bouncer, a live DJ and water sports will be moved in, and there is an open invite for all youth to drop in.
Whether kids just want to hang in the hot tub groovin’ to the DJ or go full tilt against their nemesis on the giant Wii, Surf & Turf is the perfect way for youth to spend a Friday night.
